U.S. Market Gets a Shot of Espresso
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
U.S. Market Gets a Shot of Espresso:
Thriving Canadian agency launches American operations
When one thinks of a business that does well in a recession, a marketing agency is fairly low on the list. However, Espresso, a Toronto-based Brand Infiltration agency, is beating the odds and then some. Despite economic downturns on both sides of the border, Espresso has today announced its expansion into the U.S. market.

“We believe that when your focus is providing genuine value to the consumer, campaigns flourish and growth becomes the by-product,” says Jacquelyn Corbett Cyr, CEO of Espresso. “Espresso’s approach has worked so well for our Canadian clients that it’s caught the attention of their American counterparts. New opportunities are continuing to emerge making this the right time for us to officially expand and provide homegrown talent to these companies.”
Heading up the U.S. operations is newly appointed Managing Director, Marta Kagan. Kagan joins Espresso as the former VP of Marketing at Viximo and has been a well-respected voice in digital strategy and online marketing for over a decade, working on global brands including Estee Lauder and AXA Financial. Her critically-acclaimed viral hit “What the F**k is Social Media?” has been translated into
seven languages, being referenced by journalists and bloggers alike.
“I couldn’t be more excited to lead Espresso’s effort to bring Brand Infiltration™ to American clients and to build a team in Boston,” says Kagan. “Espresso is filling a gaping void in the marketplace by delivering integrated marketing services across digital, experiential, and classic marketing channels. Not only are we substantially savvy in the ways of social media but we have a rigorous commitment to metrics that we call Return On Infiltration™ – in other words, we measure success based on real consumer action and purchases, not agency awards.”
Espresso’s current clientele includes Samsung in Canada and the United States, United Way Toronto, Sorenson Communications Inc. and emerging new business.
